Oxfordshire County Council Partnership
Since 2020, Oxfordshire County Council has worked in partnership with Boogie Mites to embed evidence-informed music-making across early years settings, primary schools, childminders and family services. The programme is designed to improve communication and language, support school readiness and give practitioners and parents practical ways to use music to enhance children’s development.
Through practitioner training, direct delivery and family engagement, the project has reached children from birth to five across a wide range of settings, creating a sustainable approach that continues long after the initial programme.
Feedback from schools, practitioners and families demonstrates consistent positive impact.
