Find out how intergenerational music activities promote mental and social wellbeing for everyone involved. From improved physical movement and coordination to enhanced social interaction and emotional wellbeing, intergenerational music-making is a wonderful way to bring generations together.

Join Boogie Mites Teacher and Community Musician, Liv McLennan, and Boogie Mites Trainer, Tasha, as they discuss the community cohesion benefits intergenerational music can bring and the positive impact it has on wellbeing across the generations.

Liv will share the wonderful outcomes from intergenerational music-making projects undertaken over the last year, and Tasha will then share two songs that you can use to cultivate your own intergenerational partnerships between your setting and a local care home.

You will have access to a recording of the session for one week after the live date.
