In response to the February 2026 reformed SEND policy proposal as outlined in the government’s Schools White Paper: Every Child Achieving and Thriving, Boogie Mites are joining forces with Emma Pinnock, Strategic SEND and Inclusion Consultant and founder of Essential Education Group, to explore the idea of early SEND identification, what this might look like for Early Years children, and how music and rhythmic skills can play an important role in early indication.

Tasha will also look at the new BeatRead Insights tool, developed by Dr Anita Collins at Bigger Better Brains. Based on neuroscience evidence that shows a direct link between various rhythmic skills, and the ease with which children learn to read, the diagnostic tool identifies children who will benefits from an intensive Boogie Mites style music programme intervention in early years.

We will also cover two Boogie Mites original songs that you can use within your setting.

You will have access to a recording of the session for one week after the live date.
