Testimonials for Boogie Mites Teachers and Trainers Summer to Autumn 2025
It’s been a hectic term so far, our trainers and teachers have been busy delivering high quality music sessions/projects and training across the UK early years sector. I see amazing feedback coming in each day but rarely have time to stop, reflect and celebrate the amazing work that our tremendous team of teacher/trainers do, the difference that is being made and the legacy of the work.
Here are testimonials that have been submitted for work that each of them have delivered this Summer/Autumn 2025.
Sharon Gomez-Jones

Sharon delivered training on Saturday 1st November 2025, for the team at The Mall Nursery covering Boogie Mites School Ready and Teenies music programmes:
“I would like to say that Sharon was extremely helpful, accommodating and really fun to work with. Sharon had my team really engaged with the training. One of my team said that this was the best training she had been to and really enjoyed Boogie Mites. The team are now all looking forward to getting started at the setting.”
Neetha Madrira, Nursery owner, The Mall Nursery, Twickenham.
Emma Ruth

Emma delivered a project at St Thomas’s Hospital Nursery in September/October 2025.
“An enormous thank you to Emma for such joyful and engaging sessions. They worked really well for all four rooms as Emma was able to tailor the session to meet the need of the age range in the room. Both the children and the staff enjoyed them very much and got a lot out of it. It was great for the team to take part and observe Emma, I know they learnt a lot from the experience.”
Rosalind Millam, Nursery Operations Manager, St Thomas’ Hospital Day Nursery.
Tamsyn Salter

Tamsyn ran transition workshops throughout June/July 2025 in East Sussex Primary Schools. One feeder pre-school had Tamsyn in to deliver 3 music sessions before the session at the local primary school. Mother of a neurodivergent boy attending, sent us feedback:
“I thought the workshop was fantastic and it has been of such help for my son. He struggles with change, noise and general kerfuffle, but the familiarity of Boogie Mites removed any uncertainty and brought him skipping into the school setting! Tamsyn was fantastic. I would love to write an article about how helpful the workshop has been and spread the word about the great work you are doing.”
Olivia Mclennan

Liv delivered an intergenerational music project at Kiddi Caru Whiteley in October 2025.
“Thank you for the truly inspirational training! The staff found it incredibly valuable, and we’re already noticing the positive impact. Liv has been exceptional and bringing so much joy and enthusiasm to our group, she has been so exhilarating, with such love. Please extend our gratitude to her.”
Erika Maindrou, Nursery Manager, Kiddi Caru Whiteley.
“It was very interactive, and the residents loved it when the kids interacted with the residents. The enthusiasm was top notch. Everyone really enjoyed it. We would love to do it again.”
Yvonne Pallett, Activities Manager, Hamble Heights Care Home.
Tasha Bretten

Tasha led training for Avon Valley Nursery and Pre-school last week.
“Our trainer Tasha was absolutely incredible. Such a heartwarming and kind soul and made the session super interactive. I loved every minute of it. Learning the songs, singing and dancing along, listening to the science behind it. Every minute was fantastic!”
Aron Thomas, SENCO, Avon Valley Nursery.
Lizzie Lock

Lizzie led Saturday training for community setting Aston Clinton Pre-school in October 2025, this what a few of the team had to say about it.
“Fun, team building and exciting.”
Kelly Boswell, Nursery Manager
“Boogie Mites training helped me appreciate how valuable music and song can be to support the EYFS in a fun way. Lizzy was a great instructor and made the course extremely enjoyable and informative.”
“Boogie Mites on-site training was very enjoyable. Lots of fun and very interactive, providing loads of great ideas of songs and activities to bring into the setting. A great team building experience for our team.”
“One of the most engaging training sessions I have attended. Great fun with lots of movement & interesting information.”
Paula Wint

Paula delivered a one-off visit to support transition for pre-school and Year R children at Asterdale Primary School, Derby.
“The session that Paula delivered for us on Monday morning was thoroughly enjoyed by all the children and staff. Paula captured or seaside theme in every song, thank you! Paula’s enthusiasm and obvious love of what she does shone through. We absolutely love the fact that the instruments Paula brought with her were all home-made and from everyday items – we are inspired and want to make our own!
The children were talking about the session afterwards, saying how much they enjoyed it. Our parents also commented how much their children enjoyed the session as the children told them all about it when they got home.
I would recommend Boogie Mites to anyone working with young children.”
Sharon Edwards, Teacher / Phonics Lead / RE Lead / Joint Early Years Lead, Asterdale Primary School
Pauline Nixon

Pauline has delivered weekly music sessions for families at Paulsgrove Family Hub Portsmouth since Summer term 2025, part of an ongoing project working with Home-Start supporting families Portsmouth across the City.
“We have worked with Boogie Mites on a number of projects over the past two years and have always been impressed by their enthusiasm and passion for bringing music and learning to children in the early years. Their ethos and philosophy align well with Home-Start Portsmouth and the families we work with. Recently we have worked together with Boogie Mites to bring the ‘Thrive though Music’ project to the Family Hubs in Portsmouth. The aim has been to bring music and movement sessions to families who are not used to attending such groups. This project has been well received by Portsmouth City Council and the families attending the sessions with some excellent feedback received. Well-done Pauline! It has been a pleasure to work with Boogie Mites who have always been professional and effective in their work; from the delivery of the sessions to the administration and reporting required. It has been great to see and hear the benefits this project has given to the children and parent/carers in Portsmouth.”
Amy Baines, Project Manager, Home-Start Portsmouth
