array of research. Furthermore, the importance of engaging
musicians who understand the early years, plus gaining the
support and participation of parents and carers has also been
highlighted in research.

for Council funded Sure Start venues and Family learning
workshops. We can provide a perfect parent link, offering an

OPEN
DAYS/LAUNCH DAYS
Boogie
Mites teachers set an upbeat tempo for Open Days or Launch
Days. Showing parents that learning is all about having fun.

WORKSHOPS
We
are working with many Children Centers in the South, providing
a series of weekly workshops that get local parents/carers and
their little ones hooked into having great fun with music.
PARENT
COURSES
The
importance of parents engaging actively in music with their
children at home is fundamental for children to gain the
optimum benefits from music. The Parent courses are run by
Boogie Mite teachers with the aim of showing parents and
giving them the confidence to use the music and movement
programmes at home with their little ones.
