Family Learning
- Music workshops provide a great opportunity for joint learning and bonding for parents and pre-school children
- Boogie Mites have developed a range of 6 week courses and 2 hour craft and music workshops which aim to involve parents in fun music making activities with their children while informing them of the benefits for children’s learning in many areas to encourage the continuation of these activities at home
- Our courses include CD packs for home use
- Boogie Mites original and inspiring songs and ideas have proved to engage even the hardest to reach families with feedback being very positive
- Some courses are specifically focusing on speech and language development, others may be focused on another area of learning such as Healthy Living
- The courses are a great way to get parents involved in a fun activity over a number of weeks in which they will see their child get so much enjoyment and make so much progress over the 6 weeks, so that they will then be open to discussion about other opportunities with Family Learning including literacy and numeracy courses for themselves to help them support their child’s learning as they move on to school
- We currently work with Family Learning in Hampshire, Surrey, Portsmouth and Croydon
